Sources and update policy

ReportDuty uses public authority sources, state or agency guidance, and source-linked review dates to summarize mandatory reporter workflows. The source policy is simple: prefer official state or agency material, label uncertainty instead of inventing certainty, and show the last-reviewed date next to each state summary. When a data point belongs in editable state content rather than hardcoded logic, the product keeps it in the content layer so future updates can change data without rewriting the lookup engine. Use these pages as a starting point, then confirm the live source before policy rollout.
